Bittensor is a network where independent miners compete to produce useful intelligence and validators score the work. The foundation that runs its annual summit describes the event as the whole ecosystem in one room, arguing. That is the right frame. The organizations below run the subnets, fund them, audit them, and cover them. Some are training models across strangers' machines. Some sell inference by the token. One predicts the weather, one flies drones, one hunts deepfakes, one screens molecules for drug targets. Two pairs of them will debate, on stage, whether research or revenue should set the pace and how fast the protocol itself should change.

About 3,600 new TAO a day flow to subnets in proportion to their token price. Inside each one: 18 percent to the owner, 41 to miners, 41 to validators and their stakers.
Any score that is cheaper to fake than to earn will be faked. The network's culture is to find that out in public and fix the rule. The summit is two days of exactly that.

Taostats founder Marcus Graichen against Macrocosmos CEO Will Squires. This is the network's oldest argument: should the token emissions that fund subnets reward science or sales? Squires runs the most research-heavy operator in the room. Graichen reads every subnet's numbers for a living.

Subnet slots are registered, traded, and now owned by public companies. Renno's Toufic Adlouni, a crypto lawyer in Canada, is the one person on the agenda whose job is to say what a validator and a slot actually are in law. Expect the least-quoted and most-consequential session.
Yuma is Digital Currency Group's Bittensor arm and now runs funds for institutional allocators. Its session on subnet liquidity is the clearest read you will get of how institutional money looks at subnet tokens, and what it wants changed before more of it arrives.
