The ninth letter, then sdk.
IOTA runs on Bittensor subnet 9, and iota is the ninth letter of the Greek alphabet. The wordmark is that letter followed by sdk, set as one lowercase word in EB Garamond, the brand's statement face. The ι is sand; the rest is bone on charcoal and ink on bone.

How to set it
- Always lowercaseιsdk, in the wordmark and in running copy, including at the start of a sentence.
- Two tones where colour existsThe ι in sand (deep tan on bone), sdk in the text colour. In one colour the ι reads as a dotless i and the Greek letter is lost.
- Keep it out of capitalsCSS uppercase turns ι into the capital Ι, which looks like a plain I. Labels set in capitals must leave the word with text-transform set to none, or not carry it.
- Where ι cannot be setPlain text, URLs, email subjects, the package: iota sdk. The package name is still open (iota-sdk on PyPI is the IOTA Foundation's).
- Say it"iota sdk".
- Never"iota means nine": as a Greek numeral iota is 10. Say the ninth letter.
